Matthew and his wife Holly, moved to FNQ in July 2020 and quickly fell in love with the captivating beauty of the landscape, and “the zest for life” that it inspires. Both avid SCUBA divers, they longed to find somewhere that they could call home which offered them world class diving, alongside the serenity and adventure of tropical rainforests and an exciting/bustling town with which they could develop their careers. Arriving in Port Douglas, they needn’t look any further and they now plan to settle down and start a family of their own here.

Matthew joined the firm in 2021 as a Licensed Real Estate Agent having completed his qualifications in hotel quarantine amid the recent global pandemic. His career in Real Estate first began in the UK in 2011. Several years of intensive training laid the foundation for Matthew achieving the biggest milestone of his career, and under new employment through Mitchells estate agents, he was given the accountable position of Branch Manager and assumed responsibility for building a new office in the coastal town of Mudeford, UK. Business-minded, devoted and with boundless enthusiasm for working with people, this new venture thrived and grew to become the market leader within the first year of trading and still retains this title today.
