We recommend you follow the Douglas Shire Council Disaster Dashboard dashboard.douglas.qld.gov.au for regular updates.  Please prepare now and let us know if gutters need to be cleaned, check and clear skimmer boxes in pools, advise if sump pumps are not working during rain.  In times of severe storms, sandbags are available from Douglas Shire Council – at the Mossman SES Shed and at the Community Centre in Port Douglas.
